Mascot Medical is now administering both COVID-19 vaccinations to people of all ages with a Medicare Card. Bookings are available ONLINE ONLY to secure an appointment. Please make sure you review and meet the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the Pfizer Vaccination prior to booking.


  • If we have no bookings visible, then we are booked out
  • Prior to booking online, please ensure you meet the criteria for the Pfizer vaccine, otherwise feel free to book in for the A.Z. vaccine - both vaccines have equal EFFICACY against the Delta Variant

More About Krishna

Dr Krishna Sura completed his medical degree in 2005 at University of Newcastle. He went on to complete a year of surgical training prior to commencing his GP training.

Upon completing his GP fellowship in 2011, Dr Sura undertook a Diploma in Dermatology from the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Sura enjoys all aspects of medicine but has a keen interest in dermatology, sports medicine, travel medicine and sexual health. He has recently completed a primary certificate in Aesthetic Medicine, allowing him to perform anti-wrinkle injections.

In his free time, Dr Sura enjoys running, cycling and football. He is a keen listener of live music and can be found regularly attending events around Sydney.

More About Sheila

Dr Sheila completed her medical degree in NSW. She subsequently went on to complete the FRACGP in Western Sydney, where she was exposed to a wide breadth of medicine.

During her training and subsequent years, Sheila underwent specialty training in areas of clinic interest. Namely, she has completed a training in aviation medicine (CASA accredited DAME), diving and hyperbaric medicine, and railway medicine. She has also completed courses in Primary Care Dermatology, Dermoscopy and Minor Surgery (RACS).

Jacky is an Australian trained fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to becoming a GP, Jacky worked across major hospitals in the northern beaches and in a variety of emergency departments across NSW. He is interested in all aspects of medicine and is thorough in his approach. 

He enjoys looking after children and has good experience with women's health having worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Westmead Hospital, as well as holding a certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health. 

He is also very experienced in managing older patients and complex chronic health issues having worked in 4 nursing homes during his rural GP rotations. 

Jacky is also a native Mandarin speaker and takes time to care for patients of all cultural and religious backgrounds. He enjoys food, travelling, technologies, movies and a good story.

Caran graduated from Sydney University in 2013, and went on to train at St Vincent's Hospital with a special interest in critical care medicine. She then worked briefly overseas in emergency. She completed her FRACGP in 2018. Prior to medicine, worked as a community pharmacist.
Caran is multi-skilled: she is accredited in antenatal shared care, Implanon insertion and removal, and has completed the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and a certificate of practical dermoscopy with the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is also an S100 hepatitis B / HIV prescriber.
She enjoys seeing patients from all walks of life, from young to old and has a focus on preventive health.

Dr David Heslop is a General Practitioner and Associate Professor at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales. 
He completed his medical training in 2006 at the University of Sydney, and has worked extensively as a doctor with the Australian Defence Force in General Practice and various specialised medical roles in Australia and overseas.

He is currently highly involved in COVID advisory roles with current / future outbreaks due to his extensive epidemiology research.

In his spare time, Dr Heslop enjoys spending time with his wife and children, learning Spanish, and playing classical piano amongst other instruments.

Dr Anna van Beek is a consultant paediatrician working  through Sydney Children's Hospital.

Mascot Medical is currently partaking in a trial from Sydney Children's Hospital (Strengthening Care for Children) whereby our GPs receive support from Paediatrician, Dr Anna van Beek. On Tuesday mornings, Dr Anna sits in with our consultation to provide support on issues affecting any of our paediatric patients.

Please book in with your GP as usual and Dr Anna will be invited to be present during the consultation  (TUESDAY MORNINGS 9am-12.30pm) - regular GP fees applicable.

At present, due to the COVID outbreak, Dr Anna will link in via videoconferencing to provide medical support. This program will run from August 2021 to July 2022.

About Santosh

Dr Santosh Sanagapalli is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive and holistic care to patients with problems affecting the gastrointestinal tract.


He is skilled in diagnostic therapeutic colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He has subspecialty expertise in the management of oesophageal disorders such as reflux / GORD, hiatus hernia and conditions affecting the swallowing. He practices across the St. Vincent's campus in Darlinghurst and at Mascot Medical. 

Dr Santosh completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of NSW and clinical training in Gastroenterology at Concord and St. Vincent's Hospitals, Sydney. Subsequently he undertook further subspecialty training in oesophageal disorders during a clinical research fellowship at University College London Hospital, UK, one of London's most prestigious teaching hospitals.
